I want to take this opportunity to thank myself, @Wassajja_Aiden @Ruheemba , and @TrillUganda for standing up and speaking out against corruption in Parliament. We believed that the actions surrounding @AnitahAmong had damaged the image of @Parliament_Ug in the eyes of many Ugandans, and as citizens of Uganda and members/supporters of Patriotic League of Uganda, we felt it was our responsibility to raise our voices. Special thanks to Gen. @mkainerugaba for listening to the concerns of ordinary citizens and supporting the call for accountability and change in leadership. I also appreciate every member of PLU who joined and supported this cause. We shall continue fighting to streamline and build a better country because Uganda is the only home we have. If corruption destroys this nation, there is nowhere else we will run to. The future of our country depends on all of us standing up for transparency, accountability, and good leadership.

The political ground is shifting very fast. The same PLU that had earlier endorsed Anita Among and Tayebwa has now officially withdrawn that support with immediate effect.
Like I said before, AAA has been behaving like an injured soldier trying to console herself early because deep down she knows the tide has changed. Corruption allegations, sanctions and extravagance have heavily damaged her political image.
Now the focus returns to leaders who can restore dignity, accountability and credibility to Parliament. The message from the ground is becoming louder every day: Uganda deserves better leadership in the 12th Parliament. Hon Rt .@norbertmao is our next speaker
