Our mahi wouldn't be possible without the intellectual contribution of academics and their teachings. Especially those who have given their time to speak at our events or mentor us through difficult issues. It's time to recognise that mahi fairly. It's time for a real pay rise!

Generation Zero stands in solidarity with members of the @nzteu striking in Waikato who have been suspended without pay. We stand in solidarity also with the ongoing negotiations in other university sites.

Last year's @AklCouncil climate action progress report gave a clear message - 2030 is looming and we simply aren’t doing enough. It called for urgent and innovative change. The climate action targeted rate is one of many changes needed -we can’t fail at this very first hurdle 1/2
