@BoziTatarevic Any chance you could pull something like this for say stage 2 and stage 3 up until Cleetus actually spun and had to put the used tires on? Those last 30 laps rough. He seemed to be in a groove there in the middle of the race and probably got too comfortable.

@data_republican I have an idea better than a protest: Senate Majority Leader Thune wants nothing more than to protect John Cornyn & keep him in the Senate. If we don’t get the SAVE America Act, how about we all head to Texas & help defeat Cornyn on May 26th? Thoughts?

Conservatives don't normally plan protests. We don't have any funding in place, but I can't help but think that maybe we should consider making an exception when it comes to the ousting of Thune and passing the SAVE America Act. Has anyone else thought about this? The thing that makes me think it's not worth it is that I've never seen protests accomplish anything, but I don't know what else we can do. Any ideas?

People don't "hate" Cleetus. But he's been rushed up to the 2nd highest level of stock car racing in just over a year. He's great for the sport, bad for the approval process/standards. We've got guys that have raced for years who don't get those opportunities.

No question, Cleetus McFarland is great for the sport of #NASCAR, but having 5M YouTube subs shouldn't give you a pass to the highest levels of American motorsports. It's clear that, after Saturday, McFarland needs more seat time before racing in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

Because Sawalich drove the best - by far - ARCA car in 2024 and pummeled the field basically every week. Then he got in arguably the best equipment in the Xfinity field and laid a big pile of 💩every week in 2025...

Because he isn’t following your preferred flow path doesn’t mean he can’t do it. And none of us know definitively yet if he’ll succeed.

Idk what Sawalich has to do with anything. He was fast at times (like actually fast, not occasionally running fast laps from 30th) but struggled w results.

Well, ol’ Cleetus didn’t tear up the car, and finished the race, which is good. However, today proved what anyone knowledgeable has said - he has no business being in this series. Also, contrary to popular belief, I don’t hate him at all. Just having fun w/ the triggered folks.

He finished 32nd, 6 laps down, off-pace speed-wise in a car prepared by the 1a/1b team of the 2nd highest series where he doesn't belong. Of course I'm judging based on results. The CW is once again calling today’s O’Reilly Rockingham race from the Charlotte studio & it appears it’ll just be Adam Alexander and Parker Kligerman in the “booth” today. Charlotte to Rockingham is a 90 minute drive. This is inexcusable behavior from a broadcaster.

@TheZappaz @bwilliams18 Yeah, too many hiccup laps. I'd like to see the distributions of like the 5 or 32. He was running 30th with lap times closer to the leaders than the guys around him but every 10 laps would be a hiccup. Needs consistency and the only way to get that is seat time.

@bwilliams18 The ability is there but still raw, needs to continue improving his racecraft. Things like giving up too much time while letting leaders pass really hurt metrics like this one as well as lack of top end speed due to not knowing the car limits and being worried about wrecking.
