I was watching the Coca-Cola 600, noticed that Daniel Suarez had some early speed and gained a few positions, but then went to pit road. I saw his odds go real deep and took a shot for a bet that went to 100-1. Needless to say, it paid off. It pays to live bet for this race!

@jeff_gluck The ending was a buzzkill. Unironically wasting about 30 laps for stage cautions was a buzzkill. But the racing itself was pretty good. Broadcast was great. Actually made nascar seem like a serious sport for a change.

Credit where credit is due. I really did not think SVG would become this fast on the ovals.

@Kevin_McAdams That period where the broadcast picked up the tire rolling towards the groove before race control got it was nerve racking.

One day one of these tires will get absolutely launched and it will kill someone. I absolutely despise the single lug for multiple reasons, but that one is easily at the top of the list.

@SkySportsF1 By the rules, Russell is technically right. From a racing perspective, he’s a dork who is afraid of racing wheel-to-wheel and would rather run his teammate off than actually race him.

Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race. Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.

Honestly at a loss for words. Such a sad day. Thinking of his family. May he rest in peace.
