Italian PM Giorgia Meloni tore into President Trump Friday after he claimed she "begged" him for a photo at this week's G7 summit in France, saying she was "appalled" by his comment and warning him that "Italy and I never beg." She claims it never happened, and asks why the President of the United States acts this way towards its allies, and adding this is not the first time it has happened. Meanwhile the Italian foreign minister announced he is canceling a trip he had scheduled to the US next week. He added the comments President Trump made about PM Meloni offended all of Italy. Alberta’s public health-care system is being steadily eroded by the UCP government as they barrel forward with their plans to introduce a two-tier, American-style, for-profit system here in our province. It’s not just wrong, it’s incompetent, because it will do nothing to improve services for Albertans. Today, I sent a letter to Prime Minister Carney, calling on the Government of Canada to intervene under the Canada Health Act and protect public health care in Alberta.
