The Great Outdoors 1988 Good Movie or Bad Movie? This is a good movie mostly because it has John Candy and Dan Akroyd is in a role that fits him really well as the rich brother. There’s really only one thing stopping this movie from being damn near perfect and it’s the stupid love thing with the teenager and the local girl. Every scene just ruins the momentum and the laughs and no one cares about his fling. It’s just him pissing her off and apologizing to the same music every time. They should have cut these parts out entirely. Right now it’s free on YouTube and if you watch it tell me I’m not right about it. 6.5/10 🍺 Could have been a lot better. #MovieReview
