@davis7 I still do not honestly get how you’re meant to begin using Effect. The docs go from “so here’s how the effect type works” to “okay so here’s how you do the most complicated thing known to man”

Warning: Effect.ts crashout, but I think this does a good job of showing my problems with the library I was thinking about using it for some of the streams bullshit I'm working on and was like hey I bet they have streaming primitives let me go look and then they did, and I'm like fuck yea this looks neat, I wonder if I can use it to make readable streams to return from API routes and then I spent 5 minutes scrolling all the streaming docs, found nothing. cmd + f'd, found nothing. THEN I ASK CLAUDE AND IT GIVES ME THE SIMPLE ASS CODE I WAS LOOKING FOR RIGHT OFF THE RIP and then I had to make a new project and test it just to make sure it wasn't hallucinating like seriously this feels like the most simple obvious thing I would ever want to do with a stream, maybe I'm just stupid but stuff like this is why I feel like people drop out of it. I know docs are really hard and with a library this fucking enormous things fall through the cracks, but this is so obviously not being made by people who build products. That should have been among the first things they thought of it feels like the docs are more just a collection of "look at all this crazy cool stuff you can do" not "how would I use this to build something useful". that shit's fine for guys like us, we'll power through and figure it out on our own, but no one else will

We're getting @Tan_Stack Start 1.0 ready, but we're also slowly working on our post 1.0 RSC impl that I genuinely think people are going to gush over... as long as they can get passed the initial "what the..." moment. We've shown it to ~10 people and it was 🤯😍 every time.

@GenericNerdYT @tannerlinsley @tan_stack so its a TanStack Form specific issue then, not "form actions" in general? the Form team is working on making TanStack Form again compatible with the latest TanStack Start version, so i hope this gets resolved soon.

@schanuelmiller @tannerlinsley @tan_stack I’ve had this bug (spoken on Discord and verified by maintainers) where the Tanstack Form guide doesn’t actually work with Start and redirects to the server function URL instead of just handling it

@dwjorgeb @Colin_d_m It happens due to having deleted a station or a track element with something on it, ie removing a station with population on it. There is no rescuing it at this time

@itsumeshk I’ve had this issue with the UI just being… well awful really. I subscribe and I find that chat loading is just really slow, the actual chat is incredibly clunky, sometimes basic features break and error handling is a bit of a mess. Not saying I could do better but just my take
