@y_sakaki Realistically the doctors would probably prefer we did the same here, however… Americans don’t follow instructions well. 😂 We do exactly as much of it as we please, unless we have our own concerns.

Just been for a scan. Had a bizarre exchange with the CT tech, a woman in her 30s. Could you be pregnant? No. When was your last period? May 2024. And why was that? I've gone through the menopause. And were you pregnant then? Er, no. Have you been pregnant since? Clearly not.

There's a Japanese breakfast that the rest of the world hates. This. Hot rice. Raw egg. Soy sauce. Mix. Eat. It's called Tamago Kake Gohan — TKG. Literally: "Egg on Rice." The internet's reaction: "Raw egg? That's disgusting." "You'll get sick." "Absolutely not." Shut up and try it first. The egg melts into the hot rice, gets silky and creamy, and the soy sauce hits you with that perfect umami. Come to Japan and try it. It'll change your life.

I’ve got one like that. I gently set him aside and tell him I need space, firmly. It’s taken about 2 years for him to really get the point, but he’s much more comfortable being independent now. He’s 10 and was one of a set of twins (both healthy now) born at 28 weeks and has some delays and developmental issues. Firm and gentle has been the way. Sometimes he gets very upset, but I just stick to the boundaries necessary for comfort. I wish I had more advice, honestly, but know you aren’t alone in this at least.

If it goes down when you put your feet up definitely try compression socks. I’ve got this coming and going at this point. Some days are easy and others.. I look like a marshmallow 😂 If it’s not going down with putting your feet up or there’s any pain in your leg, be sure and call your doctor!

@92__cinnamon Honestly? After the first 3 weeks and the glue fell off, I never thought about it again. There’s a thin scar, but nothing big, and it healed well.

Finally told our children that I was pregnant and they would have another baby brother or sister soon. 5yo: I was in your tummy when I was a baby. Me: That’s right! 5yo: And then I came out of your butt. Me: not…not exactly

It’s also funny bc I’ve totally realized that to my MIL, no one is more important than her son. She will make him breakfast but not her grandson or 31w pregnant DIL. Hahaha. 😬🥴

I started out rather big, have gained about 30lbs, and… lost 2 pants sizes and a shirt size. The baby is taking it all. He’s also measuring big, despite me having lost inches everywhere but my belly 🤷‍♀️ Pretty sure him measuring large is due to me being incredibly short waisted for my height, so he’s already hunched over in there at 33 weeks 😂

Didn’t realize how body composition truly worked until I saw Facebook mom groups complaining about 20 pound weight gain by the 3rd trimester and they’ve gained noticeable weight, meanwhile I’ve gained 40+ pounds at 29 weeks and it’s 85% in my belly alone Everyone is different. Sometimes I fall victim to looking at the scale and feeling like I did something wrong, I’ve always been 120 pounds so seeing the scale say 160 upsets me However there’s more nuance to the idea that you must gain less than 30 pounds by the time you have a baby. All my doctors have told me to stop looking at the numbers on the scale because its not that black and white
