Salon today (28 Oct) at 5p! Phil Dishuck (Eichler lab) and @AllieGreaney (Bloom lab) will be hosting a discussion on *spooky* gain-of-function research on pathogens, both endemic and those with pandemic potential. Hybrid format; in-person at Foege S110, DM for zoom link.

Genomics Salon's first event of the year is today, 14 Oct at 5p! Join us at Hans Rosling Center 101 for a film screening of First In Human, a doc about early stage clinical trials, followed by discussion. @goldmich1 is hosting in collab w @UW_PHI. DM if attending virtually.

Tomorrow (Th 20 May) at 5p, @mitch_does_sci will chair the second workshop on scientific communication. This workshop will cover the intersection of visual art and science, ft. @NatalieTelis and @lampoona ! Dm for link.
