TUNGSTEN finally seeing some coverage on the terminal too. • Prices have more than doubled in value this year, rising to record highs due to Chinese export limits and rising military demand. • The metal's price has risen 557% since Beijing added certain tungsten products to its export control list in February last year, with manufacturers now jostling for alternative supplies. • Western governments are attempting to reduce reliance on China for critical minerals like tungsten, which is dominated by Chinese production, with the US seeking to develop its first tungsten mine in a decade.
