@bobsansevere Just an awful take here. Comparing football to hockey in our state is apples and oranges. Look how much easier it is to recruit hockey than football to MN. They gave Frost more than enough time and our rivals have passed us. Start fresh.

I have even less respect for Mark Coyle than I did before he fired Frost, who won more national titles for the Gophers (four) than any coach not named Bernie Bierman (five). Maybe Coyle should focus on finding a football coach who can contend for a Big Ten title once in a while instead of always extending the middle-of-the-pack one he has.
