@Delta has placed an embargo on unaccompanied minor travel through tomorrow due to last week's IT debacle. Nice. My 11 year old is stuck down south until they lift it (saying Wednesday). She's in good hands with my sister, but that's not the point. These airlines do what they want (bumping tickets and flights) with their customers with zero repercussions. Her flight is not canceled, but they canceled her "seat" which makes zero sense. Who did they give her ticket to? @PeteButtigieg @SecretaryPete @USDOT

@Delta decided on Friday while we were at O'Hare that unaccompanied minors were banned from flying due to glitch. We have this poor kid that stayed w/us for 2 wks that cant go home - Fri bumped to Sun, then Mon, then Wed BUT we leave for Europe tomorrow. So what do we do?

My 12-year-old daughter was scheduled to fly home from camp today, but (only) Delta halted all unaccompanied-minor travel for at least 48-hours and wouldn't let her board the flight as she was standing at the gate with her mother ready to meet her on the other side. Now she's stuck 1,000 miles away with nowhere to go. Every other camper was able to fly home on other airlines. What was the strategy here, Delta? This is going to cost me thousands of dollars to solve, and creates an immeasurable safety risk for a minor child. #DAL

@ctlyle1 @Delta My granddaughter (16 yrs old) flew in Saturday after from Madrid then Delta disallowed unaccompanied minors to fly until 7/23. My wife and I drove 12 hours to get her.

Atlanta airport is jam-packed. Mothers w/ small children on the floor in the terminal. Line for customer service is 1/2 mile long. No rental cars. Few hotel options. People’ve been stuck here 3 days. If there weren’t bigger national news- @Delta CEO would be dragged to testify.

@Delta I have had a minor child trapped in New York City alone since Friday. My flights have been canceled to get there. SHE IS stuck and is a minor and I have to wait on a two hour call to even speak to someone. This is ridiculous. @NBCNews @washingtonpost @nytimes @CNN

VIOLENCE AT HILTON HOTEL: Security @HotelMayaDT forcibly relocated striking workers w/ chain link fence while a guest ran around the fence & punched a worker in the head. Violence at the hands of hotel security or while they stand by is WRONG! That’s why we filed a ULP yesterday.
