Interesting to read this. I know TF can be very divisive but it was a total game changer for me. Gave me a route into teaching like nothing else, and I'm still going, 10 years later.

I’ll bite… There are too many people on Edutwitter telling teachers how to teach from their ivory towers If they really wanted to make a difference, they wouldn’t have fled the classroom That’s why at @TTRadioOfficial we prioritise the voices of classroom teachers

Ran a half marathon today with @runforall Training plan fell apart about 6 weeks ago and haven't even set out for a run in a month. But I really enjoyed it. Running is fun. Beautiful route through the city and into the Peaks. Wonderful. #SheffieldHalfMarathon @VisitSheffield

If you heard the audio and saw the pictures but think Greenwood's innocent because the court case fell apart, I really have nothing to say to you. (Also it would be great if @TheAthleticFC would drop the paywall on this piece. It says important stuff that people need to read.)

People in 30 countries were asked: What reduces greenhouse gas emissions more? Eating locally produced food, including meat and dairy? Or vegetarian, even if some of it is imported? The majority (wrongly) believed that local food is the better option. ipsos.com/en/perils/the-…

@geogologue @GeogChat Hello! I have played with GIS before, very powerful in the sense it allows students to see the changing scale. But certainly something I need to develop my use/knowledge of.

@GeographyTom9 @GeogChat Hi Tom 😊👋 When you talk about zooming in, is that literally e.g. using GIS as a visualiser moving between the scales?

@GeogChat Locations, generally stay UK based. Always try and keep things local esp at KS3. Want to upskill their local geographical imagination.

@GeogChat Sequence: start with the big picture, what is the landscape like/features etc. Then you gradually zoom in. E.g., rivers - you focus on the whole river, then the courses, then the processes.
