@BigSwingTempo Eh, kinda but not really. If you at one of the nicer places where four-hour rounds are the expectation, it sticks out more if a group is playing slow and it is usually because of one group of slow golfers. For a course to always be slow, what you said is true.

Slow rounds aren’t because of slow golfers. It doesn’t matter if you play slow when there’s 4 groups on the same hole. If you’re mad about pace of play, go spend more money to play where it won’t be an issue, and stop the performative outrage online.

IMO, Dostoevsky does a better job writing about the nature of biblical Christian love than any other author in the last 1,900 years.

@DirkTheDaring76 @athenaeumbc Dostoevsky follows a philosophical model of Christianity - Raskolnikov is saved from death and guilt by Porfiry/Socrates and has its redemption through Sonya/Jesus. It's more of a Platonist Christianity than the teaching of the Bible.
