It’s VERY UNLIKELY that Indiana would have made the College Football Playoff against this schedule.
If they had, they are likely riddled with injuries and gassed as a team and stand NO CHANCE against well rested competition.

I’ll say it. Golf is way too long. It’s absurd playing a game for 4.5 hours. What sport does this? Soccer 90 min. Most sports 2 hours, maybe 3. They need to build 12 hole courses and be done with it… anyways. I played well for someone who rarely plays.

It's Wesneski's 1st start since his TJ surgery. That 1st inning was bound to happen. He locked it down from then on. Can't ask for a better outing than he gave us.

Umpire Jeremie Rehak made the worst call of the day -- a strike to Xander Bogaerts that missed low by 4.11 inches.
Bogaerts immediately tapped his helmet, but Rehak refused to grant the challenge.
The next pitch, Rehak ejected Padres manager Craig Stammen and infield coach Ryan Goins after Stammen considered challenging the call at 2nd.
