We appreciate the patience while we're working on issues revolving the 5.5 launch. As for now, PS5 and Xbox players may still experience issues connecting to servers with certain mods. In addition, larger mods take longer than usual to download at the moment. We're still working things out with WC to fix the remaining issues. So I got tired of answering the same question over and over, "can XYZ mod be used on Official", so I made a flow chart to aid the #PlayArk community for now, until @survivetheark make it easier for the millions of new players, console players new to mods, etc., to know the difference between a custom cosmetic and other mods. Seriously, people. We need an icon or something. Something clear and easy to read, even for non-computer savvy people, even for kids, even for people for whom English is their second language. This keeps coming up. People getting confused, "I got (or worse, bought) this mod and it doesn't work on Official! Mods are a scam and Ark sucks!" No they aren't a scam... but yeah WC/Curseforge do need to do a better job of making the difference clear.
