@GeorgeF43580169 @tattooed_ump @RGIII K zone def makes the ball appear much further out of the zone. Earlier in the game there was a pitch off the plate on k zone it made it seem way outside but the over head view of the ball crossing the plate it was right on the black.

I’m not spreading false info, the k-zone is 100% inaccurate to almost every pitch you see on tv, It typically shows “where the ball is caught”, not where it enters the zone. I’ve been umpiring 25 years and 20 of those years have been at pretty high levels, how many have you umpired? I’m talking about actual games, not from your couch being an armchair umpire! There is no “but it’s close enough” because no it’s not and that’s not how baseball works 👍🏻 You are arguing with a veteran umpire btw, how many years you have?

@RGIII You can’t watch the K zone, it’s inaccurate and shows where the ball is caught, not where it “crosses” the zone. This screenshot is accurate to the ball being right at the plate/front knee. Strike all the time… also, the camera is high up and gives a deceitful angle
