Walker Kessler has reportedly rejected a five-year, nearly $140 million offer from the Jazz, and his camp is seeking significantly more 😳, per @BannedMacMahon

@pmmbasketball Yeah i feel you on this. I don't like calling a 6'3 183 guard a sure thing but damn it kinda feels like it lol

@GeorgeL313 @lazchance If the Pistons get Trey, they won’t have a pick.
English

@bjpf_ yeah that makes sense. appreciate the reply. I like the approach, feel is always tough to separate anyway
English

@GeorgeL313 eg. hannes steinbach adding value as a helper/big space rotator bc of great size and movement skills but his decisions on both ends can be shaky. but its not an exact science nor is it intended to be

There has been chatter about the Nets exploring ways to move back into the lottery after making the sixth pick, per @BrettSiegelNBA
The team has expressed interest in Tennessee forward Nate Ament.

@pmmbasketball Off the top of my head and in no order:

Carlisle
Snyder
Ott
JJ

@JBBHoops1 I tend not to worry about shot selection too much because all a coach has to do is tell him not to take those shots lol. I also see him being better off-ball than on-ball in the NBA.
English

@esidery He was one of my favorites from last year's draft, not surprised he's already working his way into the rotation.
English

@Itsjustpingu @NBATRADERUMORS8 get what you're saying, not hating on Kessler, just don't think $40M makes sense with the new CBA
English

@GeorgeL313 @NBATRADERUMORS8 personally if i'm the lakers i risk a 3yr deal cause centers are a commodity rn and you desperately need one for any chance against wemby and okc.
English

I fully expect Utah to match any offer and turn this into a sign-and-trade.
Utah will not let Kessler just walk in FA.

REPORT: The Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls have made significant pushes to trade for Walker Kessler, per sources.

@MrGilmore8 @RTNBA @ringer Ament's more MPJ-lite, Noa's more Siakam-esque imo. Noa's way better at finishing + defense and more athletic, Ament's the way better shooter. To me the only thing they share is anthros and a high ftr
English

@GeorgeL313 @RTNBA @ringer idk i def see the comps where do u see the difference between the 2 im genuinely asking btw
English

Labaron Philon Jr. - Dennis Schröder

Nate Ament - Noa Essengue
Karim Lopez - Tall Josh Hart

@Itsjustpingu @NBATRADERUMORS8 I mean yeah, if the Lakers throw the max plus a trade kicker at him the Jazz aren't matching, that's just a bad deal lol. Hartenstein with the Knicks was better than Kessler has been, and the Thunder overpaid on purpose with a front-loaded 87M/3yr deal + a team option
English

@GeorgeL313 @NBATRADERUMORS8 Lakers, maybe clippers but i doubt cause they rebuild, basically any rich team with cap space.
English

@NBATRADERUMORS8 If a team offers a 40M/year deal with a 15% trade bonus and a aggressive pay schedule utah may let him walk.
