Just goes to show - nothing beats the premier league! This game has completely opened up, complete contrast to the first half. I think City will benefit the most from the way the game is going. Gaps are starting to appear for Foden and Cherki.

Start of second half: both fullbacks super high up the pitch. Allowing pocket players more time on the ball and already they’ve scored. Pep is a genius.

City really struggling breaking down NF. The 4-5-1, isn’t giving them any width or superiority in wide areas. Very tight through the central area of the pitch suits NF, not allowing the city free flowing rotations. #NFOMCI #NFOvMCI

Our game never fails to surprise me, great point by Dimitri. Further to that point, most of the requirements for senior rosters next season are absolutely ridiculous. You need to earn the right to play senior football at any level, not to be selected based on roster rulings.

Would have to agree. Played against him twice this season and was impressed with the level of composure and quality on the ball. He is so talented and he is in great hands with Cameron Watson and Billy Celeski.

@Luke5557725 Half of the time, even in the NPL most players I know wouldn’t leave where they are for a better offer simply, most prefer a good environment and stability. It’s not until they’re either misled, lied to or contract obligations weren’t met, then they leave.

@GeorgeMells14 Fans get angry at players when they leave, ask to leave, ask for a transfer. Clubs do this all the time. In our leagues in Vic or the leagues around the world. As a fan, I'm always on the players side if they think they can get a better deal elsewhere, for this very reason.

Not the only A-League club who treat contracted players this way, it’s an absolute disgrace the way a lot of clubs go about things. No wonder there is very little loyalty in football these days…
