Make no mistake: if Arsenal don’t win the title this season then the Arteta project is over. The players won’t pick themselves up next season and it’ll be the beginning of the end for a few people in the team. It has to be now - and that pressure will paralyse them

I’m guessing the pressure will get too much now & City will pip us (if they can be consistent themselves). But if that happens I reckon next season will be rough (no title challenge) & Arteta will part ways. What of the project then? Who leaves? Next 3 games are fundamental

U have these periods in seasons. Even in the invincible campaign. Crash out of cup competitions consecutively. But, as with that campaign, you need a performance that is going to lay down a marker & dispel all doubt. Was Liverpool back then, now it’s Sporting/Bournemouth & City

@Arsenal Knew it would be a tricky tie at St.Mary’s. But a performance like that after loosing a final doesn’t bode well. The pressure will consume us in the title run in - whereas City are going strength to strength. 1st mistake was allowing Semenyo to join them!
