NEW: Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry torches parents who raise terrible children and judges who release them from prison following a shooting at a mall. During a press conference, Landry called for life sentences for teens causing violence. "We should put 'em away for life. I'm done with 'em." "It doesn't matter how old they are; somebody has failed. It's not the government's job to raise these people."
Markel Lee (17), who has a LENGTHY criminal record already, shot and killed 17 year old Martha Odom, who was an accomplished ballet dancer just weeks away from graduating high school, at the Louisiana Mall earlier this week. At least 5 other Americans were shot by Mr. Lee in the violent rampage. This country is cooked bro. The 80s we had Reagananomics with a recession in 82 and Reagan tripled the national debt. The 90s we had a surplus with clinton. Bush smoked us and the great recession hit. 2 years later the country trusted republicans more. For almost half a century, Democrats have been hands down better for the economy, jobs and economic growth and it's not even close. Yet, millions of people still believe republicans have always been better for economy. Its a failure in messaging on the dems part and it drives me nuts.
