INSANE David Blackman, a veteran of the Texas State Guard, DROPPED OUT of @penn_state Law School after a transgender faculty member reportedly told him that it was MANDATORY to take a woke anti-racism class. Emily Spottswood, the male professor pretending to be a woman, along with other staff, reportedly said that the course would be about "combating oppression," "eradicating patriarchy," and "acknowledging systematic racism." @penn_state must correct this ASAP!

Take this extremely seriously A woman from Cuba is asked “What would you say to all the Democratic socialists that think that socialism is the answer?” Her answer should be a wake up call to every American “I think you need to wake up and realize what's really going to happen when you have no food, no medical, nothing, because they take it all away from you. Oh, and by the way, you happy little darlings, your children don't belong to you either. They'll belong to the government” I verified this and it’s 100% true The Government Systematically Separated Families and Claimed Ownership of Children Many Cuban parents describe how the regime treated children as property of the state. From the early years of the revolution, the government pushed heavy indoctrination through schools and youth organizations, where children were taught to report on their own parents for “counter-revolutionary” thoughts. Parents who resisted lost custody or faced threats Tens of thousands of Cubans were imprisoned in harsh labor camps or regular prisons for “crimes” like criticizing the government, practicing religion, or trying to leave. Political prisoners endured beatings, solitary confinement, starvation, lack of medical care, and psychological torture. Firing squads executed thousands Families of dissidents faced job loss, eviction, and social ostracism

The part this post leaves out is how Woods got the role in the first place, because that's where the story gets absurd. Disney wrote Hades for Jack Nicholson. Serious. Menacing. Slow-burning villain energy. Nicholson came to the studio, got the full tour, brought his daughter dressed as Snow White. Then he walked over money. They cast John Lithgow. Lithgow recorded lines for months. His voice never clicked with the animation, and Disney fired him in August 1995, less than two years before release. Woods walks in. They hand him the script and ask for the same dark, serious read every other actor had given. He ignores it. Plays the Lord of the Underworld like a sleazy used car salesman from Long Island. Ad-libs half his lines. The directors rewrite the entire character around his improv. Roger Ebert compared it to what Robin Williams did with the Genie. The film cost $85 million and made $252 million worldwide. Disney still called it a disappointment because it was the first animated film since The Rescuers Down Under to miss $100 million domestic. And when the budget spiraled during production, Woods tried to give his salary back so they could finish the movie. He's now voiced Hades in the TV series, Kingdom Hearts, Fantasmic, House of Mouse, Disney Speedstorm, Once Upon a Studio, and basically everything else for 28 years. He's said he'll show up for any appearance, any format, any pay. Nicholson walked away from the role over a check. Woods has spent three decades trying to pay Disney to let him keep playing it.
The Rubber Duck ™@TheRubberDuck79

"Did you know James Woods was so passionate about voicing Hades in Hercules that he offered to do it for free? When the film ran into budget issues, he volunteered to return his salary just to make sure it got finished. He's also the official voice of Hades in nearly every appearance since."

@MarioNawfal That’s funny. We’ve been told for 2 months that Iran no longer has any air defenses. Or any defenses, for that matter.

🇮🇷 Air defenses just activated in Isfahan, Iran. For reasons unknown. Isfahan is home to Iran's nuclear technology center, major weapons production facilities, and military research infrastructure. It's been struck multiple times already this war. Timeline of tonight alone: Trump posts that a strike scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled, but tells the military to stay ready for a "full, large scale assault on a moment's notice." Qeshm Island air defenses fire over the Strait of Hormuz. Isfahan air defenses activate. Something is in Iranian airspace right now. We just don't know what yet. Source: Mehr News

@Eric_Schmitt @PeteHegseth One little bit I love which most miss is "one Lord Jesus Christ" and then "the Holy Spirit, the Lord." There is one LORD, translated from the Hebrew YHWH, and both Jesus and the Holy Spirit are YHWH which equals God, therefore, Trinity.

I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

"According to Jesus we're supposed to turn the other cheek when we're hurt, right?" "Yes. In Jesus' time, a person that backhanded your cheek was treating you as lesser. So you turn the other cheek, forcing them to strike you as an equal." "What does that have to do with immigration?" "The contention is that immigrants are allowed to treat us as lesser because they come from incompatible cultures and attack us. But we can't then tell them no, because that's 'racist'." "That seems contrary to what Jesus taught." "It is, and amazingly so. Non-Christians often seize on the idea that Jesus advocated for non-violence to tell Christians to shut up and take what's being done to them." "Are you sure that's what Jesus taught? It's not like you could ask him personally. He predates you by a millennium, right?" "Jesus makes the same point with the story of giving away your cloak, and with going the extra mile. In the latter's case, a Roman soldier could make an Israelite carry anything like a pack mule for up to a mile. It was a humiliation. But Jesus told them to carry it another mile, to treat the Roman as you would a friend, which would both shame them and force them to treat you as a person instead of a mule." "What about the cloak?" "When you're poor and living in an ancient society, your cloak is vital for getting through the cold nights. In Jesus' time, it was common to get around this by demanding the other person give you their shirt. But if you give them the cloak as well, it is a deliberate provocation: if they take the shirt and cloak, they will be shamed by the community." "And... the good samaritan?" "The point was the man who was a neighbor was not the priest or the Levite, but the one who showed mercy to his neighbor. It doesn't say 'everyone is your neighbor', in fact it states the opposite rather plainly. It's your actions that make you a neighbor, NOT your ethnicity." "So, not everyone is your neighbor?" "The neighbor shows mercy to those who have been hurt." "What does that have to do with immigration?" "Nothing. They've decided it means that you must allow immigrants to raid and attack you and treat you like garbage without retaliation of any sort. You can't even say 'stop it' without being declared racist." "Then why did he bring up Christianity at all?" "Because he's not a Christian and doesn't understand it."

Christ’s gospel was so radical, so contrary to the wisdom of the world, that people are still coping 2000 years later, insisting that he didn’t actually mean what he said.

It has now been one month since Lucy's collar slipped over her head. One month since she was loose in my yard for a few seconds. One month since nobody got hurt. One month since nothing happened. It has also been one month since the police were called. One month since animal control issued me a court summons. One month since they took my dog, the dog I bonded with in war ten years ago. One month since my world turned into a living hell. It has been one month since nothing happened. And it has been one month since everything happened, in response to nothing. She has spent one month in jail. Over nothing. Away from everything. One month away from her fields. Away from Lex. Away from the kids. Away from @Herb_Minstrel and me. Let her come home. It's been long enough. It's time. It's damn time. #SaveLucy I have nothing more to say. @LoneStarChica @catturd2

Perspectives: Mozart premiered an entire opera about the Muslim enslavement of Europeans in Vienna in 1782, within 100 years of the Ottoman siege of that city. All of Europe, with Vienna at the center of the fight and with Barbary pirates still capturing innocent Christian Europeans, was still dealing with the constant threats from the Islamic world and only newly free of the threat of conquest by the Ottomans. This aria from The Abduction from the Seraglio (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), featured in the film Amadeus, is a woman singing of her resolve to remain pure and undefiled by the Turk who has abducted her, conceding that due to his determination to r*** her she will look forward instead to the liberation afforded by death itself. In a hit opera about the rescue of Christian women from the hands of Islamic traffickers. 1782. This was European high art and culture in 1782, based on current events and it's odd how many people want us to forget that.

Fun Fact of the Day: These Four Republicans Byron Donalds (FL-19), Wesley Hunt (TX-38), John James (MI-10), and Burgess Owens (UT-4) represent majority white congressional districts, and NOT one of them was allowed to join the Black Congressional Caucus. Are they not black enough? 🤔 I’m starting to think the democrats are being very disingenuous about all this talk of black people being unable to be elected or represented, the black vote being repressed, and the “Jim Crow 2.0” bullshit. 🤨

Pizza Hut corporate spent seven years killing the exact thing this guy is bringing back. And his stores are now some of the busiest in the entire chain. Tim Sparks, President of Daland Corporation, is converting 80 Pizza Hut locations to the original 1980s format. Red cups. Salad bars. Stained glass lamps. Pac-Man machines. Vinyl booths. His first job was as a Pizza Hut dishwasher. The Classics are massively outperforming standard Pizza Huts. Customers drive two to three hours to eat there. A single Facebook post about one Classic location in Pennsylvania got 7,500 shares and broke onto TikTok overnight. Meanwhile, corporate is doing the exact opposite. 250 store closures planned for first half of 2026. "Red Roof" dine-in franchises no longer offered to new operators. Yum Brands is considering selling the entire chain. No obvious buyer. The decline numbers are brutal. Pizza Hut held 25% of U.S. pizza market share in 1995. Today: under 14%. In 2019, half of traditional stores were still dine-in, but 90% of revenue came from off-premises orders. Corporate saw the mismatch and decided to eliminate the dine-in format entirely. Convert everything to delivery boxes. Compete with Domino's on logistics. The problem with that strategy: Domino's is a technology company that happens to sell pizza. Their competitive advantage is order tracking, delivery optimization, and franchise efficiency. When Pizza Hut stripped out the booths, the salad bar, the lamps, and the experience, they became a worse Domino's. A typical Pizza Hut location now generates 20% less revenue than the average across the other four major pizza chains. Their biggest franchisee went bankrupt in 2020 and closed 300 stores. Total sales haven't grown since 2004. Twenty-two years of stagnation. And a former dishwasher is adding salad bars and Pac-Man machines, and people are driving across state lines. The Friday night with your family in a vinyl booth under a stained glass lamp while the kids played arcade games and loaded up plates at the salad bar. That was always what Pizza Hut was selling. Corporate optimized it off the balance sheet. One franchisee who grew up inside the original version understood what the spreadsheet couldn't measure.
