Doctors fear Medicaid changes will force them to make high stakes subjective decisions about who’s too sick to work as patients have to scramble to cut through new red tape barriers to keep their health coverage and access to care. wapo.st/4fkJAOy

Our Medicaid enrollment tracker is updated. As of May (21 states reporting) there are 2.13 million fewer children covered by Medicaid since President Trump took office. Why is this a concern? B/c when the # of kids covered by Medicaid goes ⬇️ the # of uninsured kids goes ⬆️

We can all agree that no child should have to go without health care. But, in 2024, more than 40,600 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in Ohio did not have health insurance, according to a report from @GeorgetownCCF. Health insurance helps young children get the care they need to grow, learn, and thrive—from regular checkups to early screenings and preventive care. Get the facts at: bit.ly/4nZZUbt

Ater years of progress, our nation is backsliding, leaving more infants, toddlers, and preschoolers without health insurance. This should be a loud wake-up call for federal and state policymakers. bit.ly/4vh0DqR
