A serious effort to detect fraud against Medicaid would not dump data online with no context. CMS itself indicates elsewhere on their website that in 22 states the underlying data that was dumped by the Trump Administration was “unusable” or of “high concern”.

Well this is a new low. The Dept of Homeland Security is now celebrating citizen children becoming uninsured. Not new - lying about “illegals”being eligible for Medicaid. They are not.

If a future Trump Administration funding freeze on blue states includes Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program things would get ugly very, very quickly. This is the largest source of federal funds to states and states would quickly have a cash flow crisis.
