United among as many as 4 clubs who believe they have basic outline of agreement for Delap, and expect a decision this week. Don’t believe there’s been any final communication to indicate a direction, but earlier discussions led some clubs to believe CL would “help” their case.

André Onana has been told he can look for a new club this summer. He’s unhappy about missing out on UCL football — especially with his 25% wage cut kicking in — and is open to a Saudi move. Selling him won’t be easy due to his £26m book value, but Amorim wants a new No.1. United may look to use funds from Bayındır’s sale to bring in a better keeper to challenge him, though they’re still hopeful a deal can be done for Onana. Amorim is not happy with the player. Chances of Onana playing in today's match also considered low.

There’s just not a single chance INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe have invested so much to essentially clean up the Glazers’ mess without knowing they’ll be the majority owners at the end of it. Not a chance *this* is worth it otherwise. I’m actually seeing fans criticise them MORE than the Glazers. Astonishing, and surely just not worth their energy or money at all if that wasn’t the end game. Literally any party who invested in United during that ‘strategic review’ would have had to take the same measures. The club was going bust. Such losses are unthinkable. That’s how bad it’s been allowed to get. SJR will be losing a staggering amount of money for a while. £132m paid to the Glazers in dividends since 2013. That’s £132m more than any other PL club. £33m in annual debt repayment and that figure’s only rising. INEOS and SJR aren’t flawless angels in all this but, please, remember who the real villains are. Every bit of stick that’s aimed at INEOS but not the Glazers is letting those leeches get away with the horrors they are putting this club and its staff through while they’re putting their feet up across the Atlantic.
