@ADDeeCee No worries, I just read about it specifically and I think meta's concern is about regulations around data sharing between apps and meta's apps all talk to each other. I imagine threads will join FB and insta in the EU but the regs are new so they'll dot all their i's first.

@ADDeeCee I think mostly it's actually just concern about the different regulators willingness to censure/prosecute/punish. Which means that tech companies are more likely to take their time to check that they won't break any EU laws. It doesn't necessarily mean they are breaking them.
