So many Americans are profoundly ignorant of their own history. And the world wars have nothing to do with NATO. The war against Iran has nothing to do with NATO. The only time article 5 was used was by the USA and its NATO (and other) allies came armed to support it.

One thing I’ll remember most about this time in history is that it was all preventable, but members of Congress were too fucking spineless to actually do their jobs
