Since we already live in a culture dominated by feminism, women should be fully aware of the financial consequences of their decisions. Every strong and independent woman who gets pregnant should commit in writing that if she decides to break up her family without a rational reason, she permanently waives the right to collect child support. No-fault divorce is the single most destructive policy ever enacted against the family. Before no-fault divorce, you needed a reason like abuse, adultery, or abandonment. The law recognized that marriage was a serious commitment. Now, either spouse can walk away for any reason. The financial incentives overwhelmingly reward the person who leaves. Women initiate 70% of divorces. Many do so not because of abuse, but because of boredom or the promise that something better is waiting. Children from divorced homes are 2x more likely to drop out of school and significantly more likely to also get a divorce. We didn't just make divorce easier. We destroyed families for generations.
