They have struggled offensively in the past two games, coincidentally they haven’t walked in 2 games. In the first series against the Padres, they were humming on offense while they were patient. I believe they get back to that vs a pitcher who doesn’t have great command. Last season Dustin May, had a 6% walk rate vs RHB and that DOUBLED to 12% vs LHB’s. Which the Tigers have 6 lefties in their lineup today. Two of their 3 righties are also incredibly patient so we have a plus there. After May’s disastrous first outing, and the Tigers patient lineup that should see some positive regression in that department, I believe these odds should be a lot closer to -180.
