@AlexHormozi Says spend life saying no. Has 47 product lines, a media company, a school, a fund, and a book tour. The 'just say no' guys never seem to take their own advice.

"Dessert Cravings 🤝 Protein Goals" @AnimalPak is printing. The whole ad is a flavor reveal (banana split) wrapped around one number that does all the selling: 25g protein, 1g sugar. They never argue isolate vs concentrate. They show ice cream and let the math speak. That's the move most supplement brands miss. Don't sell the chemistry. Sell the moment your buyer thinks "I shouldn't" and then doesn't have to. Notice what they DIDN'T do: no before/after, no influencer, no transformation arc. Just a craving + a permission slip. The whole creative is under 30 seconds and the CTA is "shop the flavor," not "try the brand." Limited-edition framing forces the click today instead of next month. 101 active ads. The Banana Split SKU is anchoring almost the entire current rotation. They found a winner and they're not splitting spend. 👀 Full ad: app.gethookd.ai/share/ad/10129… I use @GetHookdAI to spy on 80M+ winning ads.

@AlexHormozi Catchy but lopsided. The present you're uncomfortable with is also often the cost of a future that isn't worth it. Plenty of grinders find out at 45 they were buying the wrong future.

@gregisenberg Posting a media link with no copy is the new thought leadership move. Either the visual sells itself or it doesn't. If you need a follow-up tweet to explain it, the visual lost.

@thesamparr $150K plus a mortgaged home in 1992 UK is roughly $400K and a paid-off house today. Plus a chemistry PhD and a PE network. The 'started with nothing' framing requires erasing the actual starting line.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is one of the richest men in the UK and started a company at 40 with $150K and a mortgaged home. - Blue-collar Manchester kid. - Chemical engineer + accountant. - Ends up working at a PE firm. - At 40 he says - I want to do this for myself. - In 1992, buys an $80M chemical spin-off from BP. - Mortgaged his house while he had two kids and a wife to afford it. - By 1997 it was worth $1.5B. - Today Ineos does $40B+/year and he’s one of the richest guys in the UK. And here's the part I love which is how he spends his money. He loves sports and cars, so he owns 25% of Manchester United, 1/3 of the Mercedes F1 team, and personally funded Eliud Kipchoge's sub-2-hour marathon record. He also loves the old Land Rover Defender, so even after Jaguar discontinued it he built his own car company. He’s lost $2 BILLION on the Grenadier since 2018, but keeps doing it anyway.

@dickiebush Both worked day one because you already had 200K followers funneling into them. That's not a vertical winning, that's distribution arbitrage. The lesson for someone at zero is the opposite.

We launched 2 new business verticals this year. Both worked from literally day one. 1. Two-week live bootcamps 2. AI Writing Skool membership community We clearly tapped into a vein of demand for people who want to learn live, on rotating topics, and then talk about them over time within a community. We saw massive uptake and positive response on our Bootcamp and AI Writing Skool community offers. These felt so “smooth” that we felt stupid for not having come to the realization sooner. I’m not saying they were easy. They took a ton of work, effort, energy, and hours from our entire team. But that effort faced little resistance, like a knife cutting through soft butter. And in looking back, this is true for basically every big leap in business we’ve had in the past. So now when I feel like something is becoming forced, or the effort is not flowing smoothly, it’s a signal that I need to change my approach. This could be either pivoting the initiative entirely, our approach to it, or the team members involved in it. I need to spend more time bringing awareness to that, because there is no better feeling than having your entire team in alignment on something that is clearly working.

@Codie_Sanchez The 'I hired 100s' opener does heavy lifting. Hiring 100 people across roll-up acquisitions is a different muscle than hiring 100 ICs into one org. Most readers can't tell. The frameworks don't transfer.

@oshalchemy 'Make value obvious' is the rule. The miss: most brands stop at the PDP. The bundle visual has to live in the cart drawer and the post-purchase upsell too. Three placements or you leak 60% of the lift.

@Austen Boomer kids felt rich on a Sizzler trip because the comparison was their parents' Depression-era pantry. Today's kids feel poor on DoorDash because the comparison is the rich kid's TikTok. Goalposts always move.

I remember my dad telling me about how in his family they would go out to eat four times/year (once on each kid’s birthday) and he felt so proud we could go out to eat a few times a month
Schmμτż@Schmutz_7R

They also like to ask why Gen Z isn’t going out drinking. Good luck having a fun night at the bar for $28. The problem with all this rhetoric is that it blames young people for doing basic things humans have always done (like grab lunch) rather than live like monks/penny-pinchers

Doctors don't get paid for keeping you healthy. Medicare reimbursement is coded against procedures. A vein ablation pays the practice around $1,800. A pair of compression socks pays nothing. The financial gradient inside the US healthcare system points toward intervention, not prevention. This is structural, not a conspiracy. This is the same mechanism every ecom operator selling a "preventive" product is sleeping on right now. Viasox doesn't compete with vein clinics on price. They compete on the 4 years before the patient walks into one. That window is wide open and unmonetized by the medical category. The ad does the educational pre-frame in 3 moves. 1. Reframe the problem from cosmetic to circulatory. "Varicose Veins Aren't Just Cosmetic." This destroys the reader's prior in one sentence and forces them to keep reading. 2. Mechanism in plain language. Valves weaken. Blood pools. Pressure builds. Heaviness gets worse by end of day. The reader self-diagnoses while scrolling. 3. Product as the gentle alternative. "Gentle, even pressure from the outside." Not surgery. Not prescription. The on-ramp is a sock. No discount in the body copy. No urgency timer. The category is the urgency. We track 70M+ winning ads at gethookd.ai. Ad: app.gethookd.ai/share/ad/10063… When the medical system has no incentive to prevent the problem, prevention becomes a $200M ecom category.

@nicktheriot_ Every week one variable, every week the number goes up. Real LP tests have a week 3 where something dropped CVR 40% and you couldn't explain why. Clean case studies sell courses, not pages.

Fixing a landing page the RIGHT way: Week 1: 0.5% CVR → absolute shit Week 2: Switched headline → 0.9% CVR Week 3: Fixed CTA copy → 1.3% CVR Week 4: Added testimonials → 1.9% CVR Week 5: Match ad to landing page → 2.4% CVR Week 6: Added guarantee → 3.1% CVR Week 7: Fixed load time → 3.7% CVR Week 8: Mobile-first redesign → 4.2% CVR Now it's printing. That's how you build a conversion rate. One tweak at a time.

@umzrs $175M across 250 brands in 6 years is $116K per brand per year from email. Solid but not the flex the headline implies. Median operator at 100K/mo from emails alone hits that in 4 months solo.

@mannybarbas_ Right on the funnel effect, wrong on the framing. Meta's algo doesn't care about your 'support ads' theory. It cares about CBO spend allocation. Kill the ad set, not the ad. Different lever.

Static ads aren't dead. They're just usually done wrong. Over-designed. Five elements crammed in. Studio shots that look like ads. Wrote the entire formula every winning static across the accounts I run uses right now. I could charge $2K for this. Like + comment "STATIC" and I'll DM you the doc.
