Here is the explanation of why gas prices are high, even tho we produce a lot of crude oil. Years ago, our refineries were built to process a heavier crude oil that we imported from other countries. Upgrading these refineries to process our own crude oil were hindered by Democrat administrations and the EPA that answered to them. Under Trump and Lee Zelden, our refineries are being upgraded which will lead to cheaper gas prices for years to come.. Patience, Grasshoppas..
