Jordan Love has been a locked-in top 10 (top 8?) QB for a couple of seasons now. Kind of foolish at this point to think otherwise. "Top shelf stuff" is that Love has one of the strongest arms in the league along with excellent size at the position, with pretty good athleticism, too. He also takes sacks at one of the lowest rates in the league, too.

NBA wants to make sure the bottom doesn’t fall out of local markets (Ex: Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, etc.) Hardcore fans don’t care about tanking but casuals do not watch bad and/or tanking teams. For Example - Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t give tickets away for free 15 years ago. NBA is trying to secure the casual fan (Not Derogatory). Given good teams are often more profitable than great teams, they think the CBA rules RE: $$$ will create parity that draft is designed to do. I’m not sure if this is a good idea, but post-deadline basketball is egregious if you watch all 30 teams. Ultimately, I just hope the pathetic culture & reward for the rug pulls ends.
