There are some promising amendments coming for Policy 33, which will explicitly list retaliation as a violation of the policy. The love language for #URGeoscience is policy. More work needs to be done to make the complaint process transparent, safe, and not harmful. (3/3)

Pro: there are many offices/contacts to seek help. Con: there’s no one streamlined complaint/reporting process. Further, contacts may dissuade you from making a complaint, or exacerbate harm. UW does not report the num of Policy 33 complaints filed each year, or outcomes. (2/3)
