@tom_tartaglia @TMacPhils His feet are in the playing surface when he goes to catch it and then maintains possession. If he hopped the fence, planted his feet in home run territory, and then caught the ball... it'd be a Homer.

@TMacPhils ok, so if a fly ball bounces off of a players head and goes over the fence, it’s a homer, why isn’t it when a player catches it in midair and falls over the fence it’s not?

Basically just confirms that he's going to be on the Flyers next year, and they're committed to trying to fix him. Which they already essentially said with the trade. But this extra confirms it.

The Eagles and three-time Pro Bowl OG Landon Dickerson have agreed to a revised two-year contract at around $36M, per sources. He was previously due $39M in 2026-27 but can hit that with 2027 incentives. He’s due $15.7M this year and is no longer under contract in 2028.
