I've been sitting on this one for a while now. Amidst the already toxic entitled mindset plaguing the online sphere, I’ve noticed that a LOT of people feel the need to hound others about their choices - particularly when it comes to AI. Yes, I agree that AI is getting out of control and doing more harm than good. Yes, I like supporting artists and there are plenty of options - both good quality and cheap - out there for getting art made . Yes, generative AI all looks/sounds the same and doesn’t have the same “soul” as human-made art. HOWEVER. The minute you start harassing, bullying or gossiping about people for using AI, you lose me. And if you’re an artist, I no longer wish to support your work. And I’m not the only one who feels this way. There are those of us out here that don't condone bullying - regardless of which side you're on. I don’t know when or why this became such a popular thing - especially in Christian circles - but I’m so sick of it. I’m sick of the “I’m better than you” attitudes. I’m sick of the public shaming of others. I’m sick of people putting others down with the excuse of “they did [thing], they deserve it.” Just stop it. You’re doing more harm than good when you do those things and try building up “hate parades” with other fellow “allies.” Your true colors start showing, that you don’t actually care about others, you only care about yourself and making yourself look better. Jesus wouldn’t behave that way, so what gives you the right to do so? As soon as your goal is to make things “us vs. them,” you’ve already lost. You’re not furthering the Kingdom. You’re only helping the enemy. And that grieves the Father so much. I say all this with my own grieved heart. It makes me so sad to see so many people constantly at the ready to jump at each others’ throats over things so trivial in the grand scheme of things. All that to say, stop bullying people. At the end of the day, our goal as Christians should be loving and honoring the Lord in all we do, and loving our neighbor as ourselves. Bullying people doesn’t honor God - showing love and kindness does. Causing division amongst brothers and sisters doesn’t honor God - building unity, encouraging peace, and sharpening one another does. You don’t have to agree with people, but you DO need to love them. If you have an issue or concern with someone, dm them IN LOVE or keep scrolling. Not everything needs to be posted publicly for all to see. If anything I’ve said thus far has angered you, that’s okay. Like I said, we don’t have to agree. Just know that all of this comes from a place of love and not hatred. I'm just sad and tired, y'all. 💔 _____________________________________ Tldr: stop bullying people - especially about generative AI. It doesn’t paint you in a good light either.

Thanks for the reply!🙂 I definitely think ChatGPT Premium is worth it for me! I often use it to read plugin manuals and study them together, and it’s also surprisingly good at explaining the history and background of different music genres. It also helps me with little everyday questions, so I’ve been using ChatGPT a lot lately!😊 And… I know I keep saying this every time, but I’m really sorry about Discord😣

@Gonrag_VT You should be proud. When I was enlisted I had the same mindset. It wasn't until I got out that I realized that not everyone can do what you did. Whatever people say -- serving your country is a privilege.

@Gonrag_VT 100%. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Most attend college and don’t even know why they’re going or they picked a major because they were pressured. If you’re not going to college with a clear sense of purpose, you’re wasting your time and money.

@GhostishVT I guess not since my plans are completely different from theirs… I guess i am not behind and its a matter of perspective?

@LadyLaurk Calendar app on your phone is gold if you make a habit of using it. Honestly one of the best habits I’ve instilled in myself. “If it’s not in my calendar, it’s not happening.”

@zojieraine 100%. Especially if you do serious creative work outside of streaming and a full time job with adult responsibilities.

this is also me too. I have an entire life on top of everything else and I'd rather get to spend time with all my friends at once rather than have to pick and choose limited times 😭 I physically can't make time for everyone one on one, I wish I could. I also already get very limited time to myself which I need more of than the average person to function.

I want to make bass music. I'm gonna make some bass music. I'll see what happens.

@GhostishVT Idk man.. i am turning 21 and still haven’t gone to uni… i just finished small college course and army and thats about all my achievements which feel so small compared to my classmates who are already through uni and climbing the corporate ladder
