We are Plastic, it’s fantastic.
@GhostlyMarxist @Gideoomatic @RDL_15 Haha you still didn’t believe it because of the arrogance of your fan base believing you’d always be top dogs regardless, you also didn’t expect the slave money to be in the hands of some extremely savvy business people who could get shit done.

@mufcytp Hard to believe a United fan is complaining about officiating when sesko pushed the ball into the net last week

Last week against Liverpool, Bruno Fernandes was clearly blocked by the referee, preventing him from reaching the ball. The referee allowed play to continue while United were defending a 3–2 lead. Today, Curtis Jones was blocked, and the referee Craig Pawson stopped play and awarded a drop ball to Liverpool. These referees seem to apply certain rules against United that they never repeat for other teams.

Someone sent me this text to criticise, and reading it just shows how much of Hegelianism is sophisticated nonsense. If true, Levine replaces Marx’s critique of the commodity form with speculative social genesis, quasi-Hegelian categories, and anthropological surplus theory.

@adhee1673 Dont know who that Levine guy is(source pls), but this is a stupid criticism of Marx and properly "Hegelian" in any concrete sense.

@proboriented @elektromorr considering literally every philosopher has scholarship about them debating what they meant and how to expand their ideas I genuinely dont know what your point is. Read the neue marx lekture stuff.

What you're saying here makes Marx sound like a bad writer and possibly also a bad philosopher. However, sometimes a person who writes badly has something worthwhile to say and that usually results in other people writing material to explain his wisdom. Is there an existing exposition of Marx in a book or article that you think explains what he is saying clearly?

capitalists: if you work hard you will become rich coffee shop waitress: works hard capitalists: no not like that
Lord Balthazar MBE@LordBalthazar85

@THemingford Coffee shop waitress isn’t a job you do when you want to pay a mortgage and have kids. It’s a summer job for young kids. If you want to make it “cover the cost of living” then coffee (and everything else especially food) gets more expensive as with every minimum wage increase.

@proboriented @elektromorr How can you ever expect to understand marx considering youre just reading him abstracted away from his entire method. I can walk you through capital but without the prerequisites what am I to expect.

@proboriented @elektromorr Have you considered capital is more than just chapter 1 and it is meant to be an expository on the ricardian position. Also the ltv's historicam determinancy is based on an immanent critique of it, not in just some vulgar historicism. May I asm have you read hegel? If not (1)
