Honored to return to Digestive Disease Week (DDW) for the third consecutive year as a presenter—this time with even more gratitude and excitement. This year is especially meaningful as I celebrate my GI match with over 20 accepted abstracts, including an oral presentation and a plenary session. Looking forward to connecting with colleagues, sharing ideas, and continuing to contribute to advancing GI and hepatology research. @DDWMeeting @AASLDtweets @AASLDFoundation @GiResearchClub #DDW2025

📢 Excited to share our latest research in ASIDE Gastroenterology! Our systematic review & meta-analysis evaluates dexmedetomidine as an adjunctive sedative in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Key findings: ✅ Reduces restlessness, improving procedural comfort ✅ No impact on en-bloc or complete resection rates ⚠️ Increased bradycardia, but without major adverse events This study supports dexmedetomidine’s role in enhancing sedation safety & efficacy during ESD. Future research should refine optimal dosing & patient selection. Read more: 🔗 DOI: 10.71079/ASIDE.GI.0109257 @GiResearchClub

Feeling incredibly grateful and reflective as I prepare for the upcoming DDW 2025, where I’ll have 20+ including one plenary session and two oral presentation. This meeting feels different—more meaningful—because it marks a new chapter in my journey. Having recently matched into Gastroenterology, I now find myself not only as a presenter but also stepping into the role of a mentor. It’s been a privilege to guide, supervise, and advise the next generation of researchers and trainees, helping them refine their work and grow. Watching their progress and knowing that we’re all contributing to the advancement of the GI field is deeply rewarding. The transition from being solely a mentee to now paying it forward is a humbling experience. Excited to connect, learn, and continue pushing boundaries in GI research! @DDWMeeting @AmCollegeGastro @AASLDFoundation @AASLDtweets @GiResearchClub
