I’ve noticed that some of the loudest people advising men on how to find “good” or “proper” women often don’t model healthy relationships themselves. A lot of that advice feels performative. It is more about attention and validation than genuine guidance. Not everyone giving relationship advice actually lives what they preach. Especially online, it’s worth paying attention to actions, not just words. Advice is easy. Character is harder. Not everyone preaching about “good women” is worth listening to.

As this year ends, I pause to notice what was learned, what was endured, and what was chosen. Without looking to the sky for meaning, I find it in moments of kindness, curiosity, effort, and growth. The year brought mistakes and progress, uncertainty and clarity, but each experience added to who I am becoming. As the calendar turns, I carry forward responsibility for my actions, gratitude for the people who shared the journey, and hope grounded not in faith but in human potential and the choices we make next.
