I usually don't find it very practical to keep a `permissions` database table as I've often seen. New permissions are typically a hard-coded thing that goes along with the code changes. What I do instead is to store them as JSON, cast to an enum collection on my Role model. 👇

🔥 Stop throwing your helper functions file into app/ app/ is PSR-4 autoloaded - every file there should have a matching namespace, your helpers don't Instead, put them in bootstrap/helpers.php and add to composer.json's `autoload.files`

I'm disappointed about Laravel Cloud. I can't see why my compute cluster crashes all the time and runs out of memory so easily when a $10 VPS can run steadily forever. Maybe a job is fucking everything up. But Nightwatch reached the free plan limit so I have no idea and I'm just tired to pay more for everything. I'm definitely not the right target audience, but at least I gave it a shot. Should I switch back to a VPS? I'm also tired of switching, haha.
