I wouldn’t have a career without the Open Fund, and the development of Lost at Sea in particular wouldn’t have been possible without it. No venue was going to commission an unknown first time playwright to write that work. I’m so, so angry for the artists that will suffer.

This is shocking & horrendous, & feels particularly acute when announced amidst the Fringe. Artists & theatre companies come from all over the world for theatre in Edinburgh in August, but our own Scottish theatre ecology is in a state of complete collapse creativescotland.com/news-stories/l…
