Remembering the times when we didn’t care if video game/movie protagonists were male or female, black or white, conventionally masculine or feminine, and we just enjoyed games🚀 We loved Lara Croft, Claire and Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Samus, Barrett, CJ, Heather Mason, Raiden, Ellen Ripley, Blade, Nick Fury..etc. We didn’t care, we didn’t over analyze and we didn’t need to synch the same race and gender with a character to enjoy them. We just enjoyed experiencing a well-written and enjoyable experience with a memorable character. I really miss those days… And recently, everything is the exact opposite, and it’s all about nitpicking everything, regardless of where you swing in the weird political spectrum🎤
