When you look at the coaching hires it shouldn’t come as a shock. Marcus Dixon- Brian Flores Tree (known for pre snap disguise) CP- Fangio tree (known for post snap disguise) Derrick Ansley- Saban tree (known for pattern matching, which basically means the coverage changes DURING the play) I said this would be the case during the hiring process, but it feels like CP is going to try and create a healthy marriage of all three schemes. That’s means they can disguise their coverage in any combo of pre-snap/post-snap/during the play. It’s tough and nobody’s done it before, but my god if he can pull it off it can be the best scheme in football VERY quickly…. It will confuse the living shit out of all opposing QBs, but the key is they have to make sure all 11 on defense understand it to perfection. That’s why landing a guy like Downs is 10x more important than just his physical football ability….

@BigRedAlv @toddarcher I think the defensive hires and FA 'gets' alone raises our floor to mid-level. It added to all 3 levels Dix and BT gonna work magic on our front. Our backend has communicators that play run or pass! No miscues? Caleb is our force multiplier. Think big Law+Barham+Dixon+BT= ceiling

@toddarcher Christian Parker may be the most important addition we have made during the off season! I am expecting Dallas to field a middle of the road defense. This coupled with our Star Wars offense will be deadly!

Tuck is my guy. I don't have an issue going back and forth with him 😂. But the Cowboys tagging him with the non-exclusive was basically telling teams, we're not trading him. Then they came out and told the league, "We're not trading Pickens". I know it's hard but maybe we should listen this time. They seem serious about this 🤣
