@rjochoa Dallas never admits nor does a full rebuild. But after the loss in the 2023 Divisional vs GB (embarrassment), the best shot they had since maybe 2015, they hired a retread coach and started the rebuild. This year if they can be a top 20 defense, this team wins 12 games.

@rjochoa I'd argue that they did have an answer. Cowboys do this tag "prove it" all the time. Fans don't like it because it makes the player unhappy, but at the end of the day, the player has to play and prove it or sit out.

I'd offer that the Cowboys should have had an answer to this Pickens situation before deciding to trade for him.
"What will we do in the 2026 offseason if he balls out in 2025?"
Seems like a very fair thing for them to have considered/anticipated, otherwise why make the trade?

I’m not complaining at all. I’m speaking more in general of them being decisive. They should have an answer prior to the draft and not drag it out to July 15th is my point. They just need to sit down and get the Pickens deal done imo.
