As the Champions League final kicks off today, football fans are being priced out by TNT Sports locking it behind a paywall. While the PM has politely asked TNT to make it free, I’m calling on the government to change the law and guarantee these games are always free-to-air!

🚨🚨MY MESSAGE FOR MARCUS RASHFORD That’s why anytime I’m leaving a job or an environment, I always try as much as possible to maintain a good relationship with the people there — even if they treated me badly. Not because I plan on going back, but because life is unpredictable. You may need their help someday, maybe not even for yourself, but for someone else. And where you’re going next, you don’t even know what awaits you there. I’ve learned that good relationships are worth more than revenge, proving a point, or winning an argument. Look at the Rashford situation now — everything feels uncertain. Imagine having to return to a place where things ended badly. How do you reconnect? How do you communicate comfortably with the people there? Last week post/story was so unnecessary. It was something that could’ve been handled differently — thank Flick, thank everyone privately who helped you get that call-up, and move on respectfully. But you knew exactly how people were going to interpret it. You knew it would stir things up around Manchester United, and you still went ahead with it. That post felt like thanking the nanny who helped raise you while leaving out your mother who brought you into the world and helped shape your journey. Now look at the situation. Sometimes, not everything needs to become a statement. A little maturity and respect can save everyone a lot of unnecessary drama. That’s why, no matter how things end, never burn bridges completely.
