Deputy First Minister @_KateForbes announced £10 million funding for the Destination Tweed programme, part of the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal. This will support the delivery of the River Tweed Trail project, which will create a 113-mile long walking and cycling route.

An Evening with Jenny Holl Fresh from her winning double Paralympic gold, we’re delighted to announce that Jenny Holl will be joining us at West Lothian Cycle Circuit on Tuesday 1st October. We’ll start the evening with the launch of our new Women & Girls Strategy, before handing over to Jenny for a Q&A, hearing about her journey in the sport, and of cause getting the lowdown on her Paris success! Light refreshments will be served on arrival, which is 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start. It'll be a week today that the Scots will on the Team GB boat, heading down the Seine for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics.
We caught up with debutant Charlie Aldridge to discuss his massive rise to U23 World Champion over the past few years.

It was a cracking session for the Scots at the Junior and Under 23 European Track Champs in Cottbus last night.
Iona Moir claimed European Under 23 gold in the Team Sprint, alongside teammates Rhian Edmunds and Rhianna Parris-Smith.
There was further medal success in the junior ranks with Erin Boothman claiming silver as part of the Team Pursuit squad.
While rising star Adam Murray claimed fourth place in the junior Team Sprint.
