@Zero0Ex I think its cause of 2 things. One being that a good amount of people don' truly understand the process, and the other being that everybody broke. I'm not sure how many people working retail or fast food have the funds for a commission (price is fair btw)

The fact that I even saw a single comment complaining about $70 for an art commission is ridiculous. This is massively underselling, especially considering the quality.

@Keritaki @AshrVT Im... sadly working fast food right now. Trying to get my CompTia courses done so I can get into network security. I actually do have issues with AI despite me trying to defend it, mainly the oversaturation of it as well as the environmental issues that come about from that.

@Gildedbolt @AshrVT I’m gonna add, I’m against genAI especially in creative fields. In real life I’m a biologist and we use AI (pattern recognition mostly) on the daily. Ai has its place, but not the arts field.

@Keritaki @AshrVT True! But I think we can both agree that there is still intention there. Besides the obvious like the paint color; you could consider the brush size that is used or the force and angle the brush is flicked in. An Ai arr piece also has those considerations.

@TheMG3D That probably is true! And... even though I like Ai, that is most certainly for the best. I have no issue with AI in of itself as a medium. I do however have issues with its environmental impacts and its sheer quantity.

@spergatito_ I hear you... but i also have to note that AI imagery has in of itself caused art movements prior. If Ai art had no artistic merit at all, then these movements wouldn't have happened. Ai art can ironically, be inspirational(even if its more out of spite than merit)
