Cancelled a fully refundable @etihad @etihadhelp flight on 9 March 2026 and requested my refund immediately. Two months later and it’s an absolute disgrace: • Only marked “processed” on 29 April — seven weeks later. • Website still screams “Refund Pending” today. • No money. No ARN. Nothing. Every single agent interaction is the same scripted gaslighting: • First they claim 45 working days from my original request. • Then suddenly the clock magically resets to 29 April. • Today they told me it “has been issued on 29th April” and will take another 45 business days from then. • Latest chat: “It’s just due to high volume… it will reflect shortly.” High volume? I cancelled a refundable ticket early. This isn’t backlog — this is incompetence and customer abuse from a so-called premium airline that happily took my money but can’t be bothered to return it. This level of service is an absolute joke. I’ve never seen such shambolic handling of a simple refund. If you’re waiting on an Etihad refund right now, don’t waste your breath on their chat bots and empty promises.
