AI has the ability to amazing things for the journalism industry. But it can’t build relationships with sources. It can’t get its finger on the pulse of a community. It can’t sit in the back of a school board meeting to meet the parents impacted by a policy change.

The one thing AI can’t do is report. It’s really good at collecting and synthesizing information already on the internet, but it can’t get a fresh quote, pick up the phone or go witness something.

Smart take from a former top adviser to Bernie Sanders.

Agree! The northstar for Democrats must be common sense. But the perception among voters, still, is that we lack any. It's why I raised this concern 7 months ago (and 9 months after the 2024 election). Democrats still have ZERO comfort or confidence in confronting the culture war. Our candidates still lack any core principle to defend or articulate that satisfy the questions. It's pure evasiveness and that well is going to run dry. foxnews.com/opinion/its-no… cc: @WalshFreedom
