Trucker finishes fueling up, pulls forward just a bit at the busy fuel island, kneels right in front of his rig on the pavement, and starts praying while other trucks sit there waiting behind him.
The prayer was apparently too urgent to do after clearing the pump.
Do you see this as respectful faith or inconsiderate behavior?
@KhanSaba1278 Some guys think it’s cooler, and in shade it may be, but when they are in the sunshine and do it, they are just ignorant of the principle of evaporative cooling. You might show him this picture of a professional outdoors worker who knows how to stay cool. This is normal.
I really tried to mind my business… but this has been going on ALL afternoon.
The guy across the street is out here doing yard work completely shirtless like this is a beach or something 😐
Meanwhile… families are walking by, kids are riding bikes, people are outside enjoying their day… and this just feels so out of place.
Like I get it, it’s your house… but it’s also a shared neighborhood space. There’s a certain level of basic awareness that should come with that.
After HOURS of it, it just feels unnecessary.
I already made a formal complaint so there’s at least a record, because clearly ignoring it wasn’t working.
Hopefully it doesn’t continue, because it’s honestly just uncomfortable for everyone around.
Am I overreacting or would this bother you too?? 👀
To my neighbor that thought it was okay to mow the lawn SHIRTLESS in a residential neighborhood, I have already contacted the police. This is NOT a beach. This is NOT a gym. This is a neighborhood with families and kids walking around. I don’t care if it’s “hot”. PUT. A. SHIRT. ON. We have basic standards for a reason. Broad daylight. Right out in the open. Like this is completely normal behavior. Have some DECENCY and some respect for the people who live around you. This isn’t that hard. 😡
This contractor quoted me $250 to fill these cutouts... are you smoking something? It's literally just smearing white icing over a wall! I told him I'd give him $12 an hour and he should be grateful for the practice. My toddler fills the holes in his shape-sorter toy faster than this. Patching drywall is unskilled work, people! Am I overreacting?
I need to talk about my neighbors because I have been holding this in for too long.
They had a birthday party this weekend. For one of their kids. In their backyard.
I counted six children and two adults. There were balloons. There was a cake on a folding table. It lasted maybe two hours in the middle of the afternoon.
And I am sorry but who is going to tell people that you cannot just do this.
The noise. Six children making the sound that six children make. For two hours. On a Saturday. I had things I wanted to do in my own home and instead I had to listen to a party I was not invited to and would not have attended anyway.
The cars. Two extra cars parked on the street near my house. On the public street, yes, but near my house, which means in front of the area I consider to be my general zone.
And the balloons. One of them came loose and drifted into my yard and I had to be the one to deal with a stray balloon on my own property because of a party that had nothing to do with me.
They did not warn me. No note, no heads up, no hey we are having a small thing on Saturday. They just decided to have a celebration in a yard that shares a fence with mine and let me find out about it by hearing it.
If you are going to host an event, even a small one, the neighbors should be consulted. We share an environment. My Saturday is part of that environment and they spent it without asking.
I am aware some people will say it was just a kids birthday party. To those people I would say it is never just anything when it affects the people around you.
Multiple people try to get this woman to please take a seat like everyone else at the Eastland Career Center Graduation
She starts comparing taking a seat to the 1920s when slavery was going on
When the camera zooms out you can see she’s blocking multiple bleachers worth of people trying to watch the graduation, all of which are following the rules and sitting patiently in their seats
Many people say they’re tired of this type of behavior in America
I’m 100% against a social credit system, but let’s just say if we did have one….. a lot of people would fail horribly in America
A teacher took her students on a school trip to a mosque.
An Imam taught the children about Islam, showed the girls how to wear burqas, and instructed everyone to kneel for prayer.
Only one boy refused to kneel down.
Fire this woke teacher?
A. Yes
B. No
