Great news! 🎉 the legends over at @MatterandForm have graciously donated one of their "THREE" scanners to the 3D scan library cause! Here's a Wavebird test scan—no prep, paint or post processing and completed in under 20 mins. Pretty impressive and has great detail.

Ultimately, I'm fortunate that the Playstacean vid performed super well. I at least have a buffer of a few months where I can focus solely on designing new stuff. But commissions and prototypes for new builds are on hold until this is resolved. This is so fucking dumb.

Beyond ridiculous that some types of FINISHED electronics get to dodge the tariffs, but if I want to run a manufacturing operation here in the states, all the PARTS I need to run my business get 200%ed. Very sensible!!!

This is what a PCB order looks like for me with the new tariffs coming up. Spending an extra $200 (200ish%?????) for NOTHING isn't sustainable for my one-man American business. An American fab that can manufacture a small run of 4-layer, 0.8mm thick PCBs doesn't exist! Cool!

I loved @anhdangerous 's original art so much that I had to build it myself. There's an OEM PSOne inside, with a handful of mods. Yes, the claw controller is fully functional. No, it is not comfortable to use.

Many internal changes to this guy. The goal was to make it as quick and easy to put together as possible. It's still a very tough build, but much improved. This version of the Wiiboy Color will also be open-sourced within the next month, so you'll be able to build your own!

This is the Wiiboy Color 2.0. A fully realized portable Wii based on the original Wiiboy Color from 4 years ago. Very pleased with how this final design turned out.
