For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

@BoomerDivvies Old news. 1 million and invest in S&P. Most returns can be 6-8%. Meaning she would get 60-80k taxable income. she pushes some into TFSA and RRSP to save on tax. Still have to work till the return is a stable 100k or more a year.

@jeff_of_norwich Infosys only gave me 2 weeks and 6 days of sick leave. Which I was told to use as vacation. The next company only provided 3 weeks. However gave perks for long hours of taking time off when needed

I refuse to believe that Americans only get two weeks off a year
That's bloody criminal
You should get at least five, NOT including public holidays

They are going to regulate more than podcasts, the thought police is setting up laws against hurting feelings. Canada is 1984, playing out in real life

Joe Rogan, Konstantin Kisin, & Francis Foster on Canada's New Plans to Regulate Podcasts "It's terrifying...They then want them to hand over information about their content, and the people listening, to the government - Trudeau...That's dictatorship stuff, it's banana republic stuff." @joerogan @KonstantinKisin @francisjfoster

This is Félicette, a stray cat that became the first feline launched into space on 18 October 1963, as part of the French space program. Weighing just five and a half pounds, she was chosen for her calmness and resilience, making her the perfect candidate for the mission.
In October 1963, a black-and-white stray from Paris named Félicette made history as the first and only cat to travel to space. Selected by French scientists for her calm demeanor, she soared 154 kilometers above Earth on a suborbital flight and returned safely, securing her place in space exploration history.
Yet Félicette’s story is as tragic as it is groundbreaking. Just two months after her successful mission, she was euthanized so researchers could study the effects of space travel on her body. Her sacrifice yielded little scientific insight, and for decades, her name faded into obscurity.
That changed in 2019, when a statue was unveiled in her honor at the International Space University in Strasbourg, depicting her gazing toward the stars, a long-overdue tribute to a small cat who helped expand humanity’s reach beyond Earth.
